It has a maximum resolution of 16 megapixels and takes still and video images even in total darkness. Its higher than average resolution combined with a 120 degree detection angle, means you are more likely to be able to capture animals moving across the camera field of view. Trigger speed is a very respectable 0. 5 seconds. The camera housing has a flap down LCD screen protector.

These cameras also have a time lapse photography feature. This is particularly useful when the animal/ organism is too small or too slow moving to trigger the motion sensor.
You are able to photograph termites building a mound or monitor and record plant growth over the period of a season.

Trigger speed is 0.5 seconds. The camera housing has a flap down LCD screen protector.

By inserting a SIM card into the GSM camera, you can send images to your mobile phone or e-mail address, or both. By means of simple SMS commands, your camera can even be controlled remotely. The Meerkat camera comes with a high gain antenna for areas with poor reception.
