As the DEFENDER gets older, plastic components become brittle and break more easily.
The white plastic mounting posts on the back of the door card are a common problem in this respect.
Rather than replacing the entire door card you can now repair it.
We try wherever possible to keep the design of our parts as close to your original Land Rover parts as possible (and interchangeable).

The kit contains precision jigs that enable you to accurately drill through the centre of the broken post assembly.
The pilot and main drill bits in the kit are designed to only allow you to drill to a certain depth, - preventing you from accidently drilling through the front of the door card.
The insert tool makes sure that brass insert goes in straight.
A replacement stainless steel post can then be screwed into the brass insert.
The original Land Rover clips or our own DEFENDER Hard Parts clips can now be used to secure your door card to the door chassis.

- Pilot and main drill bits with depth limiting sleeves.
- Drilling jigs that allow you to easily bore through the centre of the old broken post
