How it works:

It’s often it’s only the vent mounting bracket/surround that breaks.

If you still have the undamaged vent “core” then you can simply clip it into the new Hard Parts mounting bracket.

  • Six brass inserts

How it works:

  • Precision drilling jigs enable you to drill through the centre of the old broken post (see image 2 below).
  • Depth limiting drill bits prevent you from drilling through the front of the door card.
  • Using the insertion tool, a brass insert is pressed into the hole that you have drilled (see image 3 below).
  • A new stainless-steel post is now screwed into the brass insert (see image 4 below).
  • The original clip or the Hard Parts clips can now be clipped onto the new stainless-steel post.
